Every safari requires a Forest Department e-permit tied to a specific zone, gate, date and time slot. Permits are limited per day and often sell out weeks in advance during peak season, so we recommend booking as early as possible. A valid photo ID is required at the gate for every guest.

Stick to muted, earth-toned clothing (khaki, olive, brown) and avoid bright colors, white, or black, which can startle wildlife. Closed shoes, a cap, sunscreen, and a light jacket for early winter mornings are recommended.

Carry a zoom lens (200mm or higher) for distant sightings, switch off camera flash near animals, and keep conversation and movement inside the gypsy to a minimum. Drones are not permitted inside the reserve.

No one can guarantee wildlife sightings, since Corbett is a genuinely wild, unscripted reserve — but our guides know the zones and timings that give you the best statistical chance.

The park is open from mid-November to June, with the core Dhikala zone opening mid-November and peak sighting season typically falling between March and June, when water sources draw animals into the open.
