Jim Corbett Tour Packages Dhikala, Bijrani & the Kumaon Wild

Safari-first itineraries through India's oldest national park — handcrafted zone by zone

HANDCRAFTED SAFARIS

Our Jim Corbett Tour Packages

India's oldest national park spans five distinct safari zones, each with its own terrain, permit rules, and reasons to visit. Whether it's a canter safari deep into the Dhikala core zone, a tiger-heavy jeep run through Bijrani, or a quick half-day drive through the year-round Jhirna gate, our packages are built around the zone that suits your dates, group size, and wish-list. Add on a visit to the riverside Garjiya Devi temple or a slow morning of birding along the Kosi, and you have a Corbett trip that's more than just a drive-through.

What Our Guests Say

"

The Dhikala canter safari was worth the early permit rush — we saw a tigress and her two cubs by the Ramganga.

Bijrani lived up to its reputation — two tiger sightings in a single morning safari. Our guide was excellent.

We only had a weekend, so Corbett Tourism booked us into Jhirna — perfect for a quick trip and we still spotted a leopard.

Frequently Asked Questions

Jim Corbett is open from November to June. November to February offers pleasant weather and excellent wildlife sightings. March to May is peak tiger season — the best time to spot tigers near waterholes. Dhikala zone closes during monsoon (July–October), though Jhirna stays open all year.
Dhikala is the core zone with the richest grasslands and the only place for a canter or elephant safari, but it needs an advance permit and is closed in monsoon. Bijrani has the best tiger sighting frequency and forest rest houses. Jhirna is the only zone open year-round, making it the easiest pick for a short-notice or monsoon-season trip.
Safari permits must be booked online through the Uttarakhand Forest Department's official portal. Corbett Tourism handles permit booking for all our tour packages — you don't need to worry about availability or quotas.
Binoculars, muted earth-tone clothing (avoid white or bright colours), sunscreen, a hat, and a camera with a zoom lens. A valid photo ID is mandatory at the gate, and plastic bags are prohibited inside the park.
Absolutely. Every package can be tailored to your group size, travel dates, safari zone, and accommodation preference. Call us directly and we'll build an itinerary around the gate and dates you want.
